The Quick Pressure Relief Valve is a hydraulically operated, diaphragm actuated control valve that relieves excessive line pressure when it rises above the preset maximum. It responds to rises in system pressure immediately, accurately and with high repeatability, by opening fully. It provides smooth drip tight closing.

HOW IT WORKS
The pressure relief pilot valve [1] causes the valve to open immediately when the upstream pressure [P1] suddenly rises above the setting of pilot valve, and close slowly when the upstream pressure reduces below the setting of pilot valve. The operation test can be performed manually with the exhaust ball valve [2].
